Having been inspired by Lee Johnston’s photos of Tignes, James Lawler has kindly sent us some shots of his own. Here’s what he has to say about them:
“On the subject of the not so clear days features on whitelines.com I thought I would send you something I took in Meribel in 2008. This was the sun starting to poke back through after a complete white out earlier that morning. The second photo is what it was like once you had poked through the clouds.
Regards
James”
Thanks for these James, they’re pretty damn cool – I think we’ve all had those days where you think it’s too shitty to ride properly until you break through the clouds, an it makes you feel like bursting into full-throated song…. OK, so that was mostly just an excuse to get a classic Cool Runnings/Jimmy Cliff song in there, but you know what I mean. I think James photos capture that feeling perfectly. Nice one dude!
If you want to get your pics on this section of the site, simply email them to [email protected] or upload them on our cyber mothership mpora.com and tag them with the words “WL-User”. If we get enough of these we’ll get some kind of comp with prizes on the go… there’s an incentive for ya
