Oh look, it’s that man again Alvaro Vogel. After bringing us all a bit of Christmas cheer at the end of last year, here he is again to blow the doors off 2018.
It’s a classic image that longtime WL fans may remember from the cover of our 2014 Photo Issue. The original image was in landscape format, however, so is well-suited to a wallpaper too.
When our Friday Fix newsletter first began well over a decade ago, it featured a solitary pow shot designed to get people frothing (rather than the various travel stories, gear reviews, resort guides and whatnot of today). This pic would have fit the bill rather well back then.
