Exciting news from The GB Park & Pipe crew – they’ve secured significant funding to build a ‘Reduce Risk Training Facility’ right here in the UK. If you’re wondering what that is, it essentially consists of a ramp launching you into a shaped airbag that mimics the landing of a kicker.
Airbags have been around snowboarding for a while, of course, but this would give you a much better idea of whether or not you’d put your trick down on the real thing. It’d be a UK version of Chiba Kings, the Japanese facility that spawned one Yuki Kadono. There’s one for all you dryslope doubters: Yuki is basically a mat rat at heart!
