Whitelines 3.0 – Same Same but Different

If you’re a regular visitor you’ve probably noticed things are looking a little different round here (and we’re not just talking about that hot lady in the flash box). We’ve been thinking long and hard about the website and with the help of our amazing designer Takashi, have come up with what we hope you’ll agree is a banging new layout.

In a nutshell, the homepage is displayed in more of a blog style, so you can read and view the latest updates quicker. There’s no need to click through to a second page; if you like the look of a video, just hit play. And if you’re interested in our dumbass opinion on it, it’s right there on the homepage too (of course you can still click through for longer articles or to grab a direct url).

We’ve also made the website way more Facebook friendly. Every item has a ‘share’ and ‘like’ button so you can give your mates a heads up, and if you’re looking for inspiration, the ‘Your Friends Recommend’ column on the right shows you which of our posts are being passed around on t’interweb.

Lastly we’ve decided to scrap the old, impersonal comments box in favour of the new Facebook system. Just log in using your normal deets. This way you automatically get your profile pic on whitelines.com (fame at last!) and as a real person you can collect all the props for making a good point. We hope it’ll inspire even more of you to get involved – I know this sounds cheese but this is your site as much as ours, so if you think something’s shit, just say so! And since you’re interacting with fellow shredders instead of dodgy screen names, you might even meet a few new riding buddies.

That’s it. Take a look about and let us know what you reckon.

Cheers,

– Ed & Tristan
