The second year of the Vans Invitational Snowboard Rail Jam was held once again as part of the third stop of the AST Dew Tour in Portland. A fan favorite with the legendary Mt Hood peak acting as a
backdrop, some of the world’s most talented riders ascended the 30 -foot snow covered man-made tower to compete for the title.

19 year-old Jonas Michelot of Bloomington, Minnesota took first place at the specialty contest after proving his technical riding and summer full of wins is just an opener of what will transpire in the regular season.

Each rider had one practice run and then a 30-minute jam session to impress the judges. Michelot’s first place positions was preceded by Zac Marben in second and Keegan Valaika rounding out third
place.
