Board art and photography exhibition opening in London

The good people at LCB snowboard shop in London are hosting an art exhibition next month, featuring a collection of the sickest UK snowboard photographers and artists. The Whitelines-backed show, called White Room, will take place between March 4th and April 1st, in the LCB near London’s Brick Lane.

James North, a photographer whose name will be familiar to regular readers of Whitelines, is just one of the talented snappers joining in the show, alongside Nathan Gallagher, whose epic shots have also graced our mag. Their photographic works will be complemented by art from Mark Ward, the designer of this year’s Burton Blunt who we interviewed in the January Issue of Whitelines, and illustrator Matt Blease.

Alongside these, Damian Doyle, the writer of our monthly ‘Standing Sideways’ columns will be showing some of his classic British snow scene films. The exhibition will kick off with a big ol’ opening party on Thursday 4th, featuring DJs and plenty of booze. This event is all about celebrating the best artistic talent the UK snowboard scene has to offer, and we’re stoked to be giving it our backing – after all, snowboarding’s all about creativity at the end of the day. So if this sounds like your bag, email [email protected] or simply head on down to Brick Lane to check it out.
