Here’s something a little different for you to check out. Sam Mellish is a UK snowboard photographer who’s had many a photo published in Whitelines. However, these days Sam has been shooting a broad range of subjects across all walks of life. Over the last few years Sam has been travelling around the country documenting and exploring Britain’s trunk-roadside cafe culture. The body of work is being published as a book titled ‘Roadside Britain’ and Sam will be exhibiting it all over the country in Ely, London, Sheffield, Exeter and Brighton. The project invites viewers to draw parallels between US and UK roadside culture and is the result of Sam’s desire to discover more about our great country and embrace his love for a good cup of tea. This looks like it will be well worth checking out if you have the opportunity to. For more info about the project and his other work, check out Sam’s website.
