After videos like this, we’re sure you’re already jealous of those handpicked by Red Bull for their NZ Performance Camp. If not, however, these photos might push you over the edge, and you’ll join us in wishing we could be a part of these phenomenal sessions. Seriously, could there be any downside to this? Well, possibly the presence of the Red Bull company man charged with writing the press releases, as he pontificates about this “new day for progression”, and how “you could feel the dynamic energy in the air”. Groan…

And how’s this for some propaganda in the Day Two report?: “An eerie cloud layer blanketed Snow Park with an all enveloping cold calmness”. In other words, flat light and fog. Luckily for us, the riders weren’t deterred:

We’ve heard that Iouri Podladtchikov took it upon himself to test out the step-up, floating a rodeo before long, so tomorrow’s report should speak of a good session on that. As well as some more guff about how ‘spine-tinglingly incandescent’ it all was. Stay tuned….
