This season the Nitro Road Warriors, Nitro’s active snowboard team, will once again roam the streets and ski resorts. This is the third consecutive season for the Nitro Roadwarriors and from summer onwards, they’ll be enjoying the support of the FIAT Freestyle Team. The media presence and message of both teams will be closely linked, and the FIAT Qubo will be the Nitro Road Warriors official car for their pan-European snowboarding trips.

Snowboarding is moving in many ways, as are its main movers and shakers: Snowboarders just have to get out and play, they need to travel, discover, jib, shred, and charge as hard as they can. This is why the Nitro Road Warriors were formed, around three years ago. They tell the story of a snowboarding crew that consists of highly talented rookies as well as experienced team members traveling together from place to place all winter long to represent the sport of snowboarding in the purest of forms, and shooting some high-quality, authentic photo and film footage.

Not only will the team will specifically head for various different snowboard contests all across Europe, they will also be on a constant search for extraordinary locations way off the beaten track. In the past, their travel plan included locations like the Hamburg harbor and Transylvania. This enables the Nitro Road Warriors team to provide young national Nitro riders the chance to think outside the box and make a name for themselves beyond their home turf.

The cooperation with the FIAT Freestyle Team will kick off in summer 2009. From then on, the media presence and message of both teams will be closely linked, and they will promote one another. In addition to this, FIAT will provide the Warriors with a fleet of FIAT Qubo for their adventures. The FIAT Qubo is the perfect car for the Nitro Road Warriors – it’s versatile, robust, and safe. Also, it offers enough space to easily accommodate the team members and their snowboard gear.

This season’s travel itinerary involves numerous exciting trips to many different locations in all of Europe. And again, Nitro photographers and cameramen will join the team to cover the on-snow and off-snow events on the road.
