JP Solberg, Romain Demarchi, and DCP start their own board company

This email from photographer Eric Bergeri landed in our inbox still smoking as the news is so hot!

“Hi Guys !

How are you ???

I’m currently shooting with JP Solberg and Romain Demarchi in
Switzerland.

First day, first photo and first avalanche. JP triggered a big slab
on me and Absinthe’s filmer David Vladika! (see photo above)

Besides that, I have a good news for you:

What’s even more noteworthy are the decks they’ve been rocking and
killing it on! JP says that there’s something huge going on. He has teamed up with
Romain and DCP and started a snowboard company. Just like that!
The boards are produced in Europe with the most up to date
technology. No kidding !

JP, Romain and DCP are not on Burton anymore but quickly got themselves
new sponsors.

– JP rides for Helly Hansen, Nixon, Gravis, Active, Session Norway and Techrider.
– Romain rides for Flux binding, Shred optics, Nixon, Empire skate shop, Pulp 68 and Techrider.
– DCP rides Northface, Spy and Empire skate shop

The new brand doens’t have a name yet, but JP is excited. He says, “We’re taking a different approach to the industry. ‘Yes we can’ is a statement we want to give when everybody is telling us no. The company that has everything in place but a name will not only fill the holes where the rest of the companies come up short and give the bigger ones a run for their money.”
