Whitelines resident travel expert and World Snowboard Guide editor Steve Dowle got in touch today to tell us about a charity event he’s involved with. Snow-Camp is a unique youth project that helps inner city kids build life skills and introduces them to skiing and snowboarding. To raise money, he and the WSG team will be heading to Morzine on 26th January to take part in the Everest Challenge, which sees groups of skiers and snowboarders attempt to ride a total of 150km in 48 hours, including a night session and a night hike.
Sound fun? Well, he’s offering the chance for two people to join the WSG team on the trip – they’ll even pay for your flights, lift pass and accommodation. All you have to do to be in with a chance is make a small donation to this very worthy cause at their JustGiving page.
