As some of you may have already seen on Facebook, Whitelines have teamed up with For Boarders By Boarders, Moog Royale and Route One to form the Shred Collective. The concept is to create a non-profit collective of like minded people whoa re dedicated to preserving and progressing the UK shred scene.
Money will be raised by selling high quality merchandise such from which all the profits will go towards buying new features which will be distributed to chosen snowdomes, dryslopes and skateparks. The first limited edition set of hand printed T shirts will soon be completed and will be sold exclusively through the Route One, Moog Royale and FBBB websites which will fund the first set of freestyle features.
We have a very unique scene here in the UK, probably the only of its kind in the world, and it is a testament to the dedicated and unrelenting passion of our snowboarders that drives it. David Benedek once said of UK shredding: “without wanting to kiss ass, this is the coolest snowboard scene I have ever witnessed.” We wouldn’t want to argue with the great man and Whitelines are proud to be a part of the Shred Collective.
