The crew from FBBB have got a sick line-up of summer events and competitions planned over the next few months, starting off with a big old gathering at the Hemel Snow Centre to kick off the summer shred season. The boys are taking over the whole of Hemel’s main slope on Friday May 28th and turning it into one massive fun park, which will be thrown open to all comers on the night.
Not only that, but there’ll be a smaller park setup on the rookie slope as well for people who want to work on their freestyle skills, and FBBB have lined up the Maverix camp coaches to give some of their expert advice and lessons at no extra cost. We at Whitelines will be getting involved by bringing our very own rail jam to the proceedings. Based on the jib jam we set up at the board test, it’ll be a short comp with on-the-spot prizes for the best tricks. On top of all of this, FBBB will be keeping up their reputation for sick slopeside entertainment at the same time, with DJs spinning bangin’ tunes all night and the For Boarders artists doing a live-draw session.
All in all, the evening looks like it’s set to be a damn good time. So whether you’re a seasoned shredder, a freestyle rookie or just want to hang out and listen to good tunes, then Hemel next Friday is the place to be. We’ll see you down there!
