The institution that is the British Snow Tour is evolving as ever this year, and has decided to kick things off with a Mini-Brits festival in Norfolk. Given the success of the British Championships in Switzerland every year, the organisers thought it would be a good idea to kick of the tour in similar style. So, on 12th and 13th of September snowboarders from across the land will descend on the Norfolk dryslope and the neighbouring campsite in droves with one thing in mind – drin… I mean snowboarding. The weekend promises to be action packed, with competitions in boardercross, slopestyle and big air, as well as lessons for those less accustomed to sliding on snow. The contests give pros and ams alike the chance to earn valuable TTR ranking points and for those who feel less inclined to compete, the lovely people at Ride, K2 and DC Snowboards will also be offering free testing of next season’s gear. The evenings will also undoubtedly be action packed and a festival atmosphere promises to prevail. So why not head on down, see what the fuss is about and kick the season off in style?
