As the UK came to a standstill, due to the ‘worst snowfall in eighteen years’, the AKA Snowskate team from Halifax, decided that it was time to phone in sick and get creative.
With a decent amount of snow falling over Halifax, it was the seven foot wall outside Wayne Taylor’s shop that took centre stage. With the cameras ready, the landing perfectly shaped and the AKA riders ready to go; the session was underway.
After warm up runs from team riders Wayne Taylor, James Box and Matt Macwhirter, the standard of riding was pushed higher, maybe due to the presence of the local press, with Matt eventually stomping a front three.
As the daylight faded, the spot lights were setup for the session to continue into to the night.
We personally think this is the best snowfall in eighteen years.
