Right then People! The British championships may have been and gone, but wipe away the tears because This summer’s events will soon be upon us and the Snow Tour looks set to represent, showcasing the best slopes and the brightest talent that the UK has to offer.
Not only is the Tour stopping of at some of the best tried and tested, dry and indoor spots in the country but there is a new slope on the list and some would say it’s been a long time coming, it is home to arguably the best snowflex kicker on this fair isle and it is in Halifax.
Halifax slope is home to probably the most famous slope in Blighty thanks to the dryslope classic movie “Standing Sideways”, and more recently “In Short” made by David ‘Double cork’ Benedek.
Halifax look set to be an epic addition to this year’s line up with a local scene prepared to throw down the most insane tricks continuing the snow tours tradition of the UK’s best
The schools tour will also continue apace, Educating the local yutes in the ways of the UK shredder and giving away more than 1000 free lessons.
Check out the day Mr Benedek visited Halifax and have a peek at the kicker.
