Another slew of last minute edits from the roster of riders that were busy downunder over the summer, this time it’s the turn of young buck/Canuck Mikey Ciccarelli, and despite the very Italian sounding name, we reckon he’s got a bit of Scanner in him caus he’s got that Geilo steeze about him…
Mikey’s been keeping a lowish profile on the WST and FIS tours picking up a number of decent finishes over the season, and if our very hazy memory recalls, he was sitting pretty pretty in Kreichberg earlier this year as well.
Mikey’s definitely got a twinge of Scanner in him – it might be that trailing/leading hand keeping the balance dependant on the rotation and grab. Also, we’d also just like to pass on the propest of props onto the Perisher park crew for that quarterpiped jump a la US Open style – it has consistently been the highlight of every edit to come out of Australia this year.
