Many of you will be familiar with the name Rowan Coultas by now – the 17 year old Brit isn’t short on chops, and a combination of Team GB training and regular Mayrhofen laps (and the odd Whitelines Mount Hood trip) has helped to bring forth a bit of a force to be reckoned with!
We join him now with footage from Zurs, Austria and Livigno, Italy this spring – where he teamed up with Shade Media, GB coach Hamish McKnight and Billy Morgan – echoing scenes for those of you who’ve seen the footage from Billy’s quad cork (which we’re assuming covers most of you…).
Yes that’s right – the now-infamous kicker yielded more than one clip this season, and Rowan’s share of them sits comfortably in this mini-edit. Although according to his own report – there could have been more if an injury hadn’t interrupted play:
“Rowan Biddiscombe / SHADEmedia filmed and put this edit together for me. It’s basically some end of season shots from a couple of kicker sessions I got to go to in Zurs and Livigno with Billy Morgan whilst he was working towards the quad. I got to try some front triples in Livigno and got a good few round to my feet but just couldn’t stick it clean on the landing then that same day i dislocated my hip trying one, gutted!!! Thanks to the guys at Zurs and Legs Of Steel for letting us come and ride their jump in Zurs and the guys from Livigno / Redbull for sorting the best jump i’ve ridden! Oh and cheers to Billy Morgan for letting me tag along and session these jumps with him.”
