Video didn’t kill the radio star, but woeful attempts at adverts like this just might.
Some production company approached The Snowboard Shop in Fleet and offered to make them a radio advert that would “get them noticed” – what they came up with was an incomprehensible mess featuring the translated ramblings of a “ski board” dude that makes the worst, most humiliating pitch on Dragon’s Den look positively slick.
It goes without saying that the guys at the shop gave this the full Duncan Bannatyne treatment: “I’m out”. If you’re in the market for any gear, they’ve got some good deals on just now – just don’t expect to find any hard boots…
