No doubt many of have now heard the sad news officially announced earlier this week that Olympic Gold Medalist Kaitlyn Farrington has had to retire from professional snowboarding at 25, due to a congenital spine defect. But incase you thought that spelled doom and gloom for her future – here she is with Wee Man of Jackass fame, getting straight back on her board for a few hot laps.

 We couldn’t be happier to see her back on snow and enjoying herself – even if it’s not on the big competitive stage.

Proving that the fun is where it’s really at – we couldn’t be happier to see her back on snow and enjoying herself – even if it’s not on the big competitive stage. While the injury and subsequent diagnosis is obviously always going to be a massive blow – the fact that she’s able, and obviously keen, to keep riding is a massive stoker; and with Wee Man along for the ride it’s definitely smiles all round right here!
