Video contests – you’ve got to love ’em. Without them we wouldn’t have such classics as The Snowboard Matrix, the various Cavern videos, or this slice of genius.

Now Aberdeen Snowsports Centre are getting involved; they’ve been in touch to tell us about Shred-It, a new filming competition they’re running.

Supported by Douk Snowboards, Funstorm UK and Granite Reef, riders must make a three-minute edit that features the centre. Riders have until Tuesday 6th May to get their edits in, before the voting period commences. On Wednesday 14th May, the edit with the most votes will be declared the winner.
