Sometimes, what you see in a video part is just a slice of the story, and so it is with Tadashi Fuse‘s solo episode for the YES. Missions series. This is not only an insanely good bit of backcountry from the Japanese rider – it was also entirely crafted by Tadashi himself and his dedicated filmer Taro Koeji.
The pair spent last winter in the Whistler backcountry, waking early and venturing far into the the depths to find untouched spots – hiking when they couldn’t get any further by sled. To top it off, they built most of their kickers for this from scratch too.
It’s almost a shame they didn’t take a second camera crew to film ‘how it’s made’…
