It’s first-try-friday with Halldor and Eiki Helgason who, like the rest of the professional snowboarding world, are out at summer camps as we type. Using the Switch Dice app as a starting point, Halldor gets a mixture of stock and pretty harsh tricks from filmer Johannes to try on the Windells tube.
Former Forum rider Stevie Bell also gets involved, dishing out some switch-360 ons to both Halldor and Eiki.
It’s pretty rad to see that some of the best rail riders in the world don’t land tricks every time as you might expect. But which of the two brothers do you think was the overall winner of the first try challenge? Eiki stomped a frontside 270 on back to switch, while Halldor goes for a trick that he’s supposedly never tried before – a frontside 180 to switch nosepress.

Also, for those of you who know him, see how many times you can spot Dalikfodda bossman, astrophysicist, Guinness lover and Bataleon marketing dude Ian Ashmore in the background. We’ll give you a hint, it’s at least ten times!
