In the latest episode of Jackson’s Hole, Henry Jackson and David Doom travel out to Iceland to experience the infamous AK Extreme – the contest spearheaded by Halldor and Eiki Helgason and quite possibly the sketchiest snowboard event currently in existence.
Complete with a drop in made of shipment containers, a solid corrugated metal tabletop, landings made of ice chunks and rails on fire, it’s safe to say that health and safety in any other country would have a minor seizure on site.
It may be sketchy, but with riders hucking doubles, skiers binning it and hot girls making out in the nightclubs, dull it certainly is not!
