The annual Ride Shakedown went down at at Mont SaintSauveu, Canada a few days ago in front of a swollen crowd of poutine stuffed French-Canucks. The Shakedown is one of the biggest events in the Canadian competition calendar and the size of that crowd (20,000 people apparently) says it all really. And with a setup as wildly creative as this one, why wouldn’t you wanna be there? Kickers over gaps, crazy rail transfer options and one of the raddest step down rail features we’ve seen in a while – not to mention some of the world’s best riders in attendance to throw down on it all.

Jérémy Cloutier won the Coors Light rail jam with a frankly bonkers frontside 180 on to switch backside 360 transfer, while Antoine Truchon finished off what has been a blinder of a season with a first place finish in the slopestyle final. Truchon had to step up his game to keep the always formidable Seb Toots at bay and the pair were dead tied after their first two runs. Truchon opted for a frontside double cork 12 in his final run while toots attempted his fabled backside triple cork to no avail, handing the 20 big ones to Antoine on a silver platter. Whistler local Jon Versteeg rounded out the podium in third.
