Contrary to popular belief, university ski trips aren’t just about drinking as much alcohol as humanely possible, getting your kit off as frequently as possible and generally making a humungous tit of yourself on a regular basis. They’re also about freestyle snowboarding (honest…) and by the looks of things, at least a few people had their priorities right at last year’s Varsity trip to Val Thorens, which brings a massive 3000+ strong contingent of Oxbridge students out to the Alps for a week of snow, sun and music.

Under the watchful eyes of Westbeach riders Matt Macwhirter and Jesse Smith, it looks like a rad time was had by all with rails, kickers and airbags all getting sessioned over the course of the week.
