Ski Jumping looks fairly silly at the best of times, not to mention borderline suicidal. But when something goes wrong it becomes infinitely more so, as this poor sap from Japan found out.
You thought Eddie the Eagle was bad? He’s got nothing on Daiki Ito. The comically old-school commentator probably puts it best: “My goodness gracious me.”
Don’t worry, no numpties in lycra suits were harmed in the making of this video. Though it’s probably fair to say his pride took a while to recover.
