Here’s a piece of good news from Jake Binnee, a UK pre-teen who’s been stepping it up on the continent.
Thanks to regular sessions at Hemel, the kid is mega-steezy. Now he’s scored a big result in Avoriaz, taking second place in the under-14s category at the Burton Park Jam Tour. It’s all the more impressive given that this was the dome ripper’s first time competing in a European resort. It’s not easy being a grom these days – just look at the competition Jake was up against in last year’s Quiksilver Radar talent search – but this one could go the distance. Keep ’em peeled.
