For this season, 68% of Patagonia’s fabrics are made with recycled materials. To put this in perspective, less than 10% of globally produced fibres are made with recycled materials. The Snowdrifter Jacket and Pants are available in a men’s and women’s specific fit and built with a durable H2No Performance Standard Protection face fabric, making them both a durable and sustainable choice.

Who Are The BRAND MODEL For?

Back for its third season, the Patagonia Snowdrifter is made for the riders who prefer quality over quantity. This is a durable outfit, made from recycled materials, Fair Trade sewn and made to last for a long while. Thanks to the stretchy fabric and serious storm protection, it is ideal for longer hikes.

Materials and Construction

The Snowdrifter Jacket and Bib Pants provide a 3-layer H2No Performance Standard protection. In other words, if you’re serious about getting outerwear for a backcountry adventure, 3L outerwear is probably your best bet as the membrane rests between the face fabric and a mesh bonded to the inner surface for added comfort.

Patagonia’s own H2No Performance Standard protection gives the Snowdrifter outerwear the ability to repel water, breathe and last through rigid use. 70% of the fabric is also made from recycled polyester.

Fit and Features

Both the jacket and the pants weigh just above 500g, making the whole outfit reach an impressively low weight of just above 1kg. The “snuggish” fit and stretchy fabric are also an added bonus for powder pursuits.

The Snowdrifter jacket features everything you’d want from a backcountry jacket. Equipped with just the right amount of zippered pockets, an adjustable hood, a built-in RECCO Reflector, a low-profile powder-gasket and easy-access pit zips to quickly release heat.

The Bibs do not lack in crucial features either with their soft, comfortable suspenders that detach in the front for a quick and easy entry, the drop-seat design, built-in RECCO reflector, zippered pockets, and boot gaiter to seal out snow.
