We’ve hooked up with one of the sickest clothing companies in the business, 686, to produce a limited edition Whitelines jacket – the same one some of you will have seen at the Ski and Snowboard Show over the weekend. We’re giving away six of these over the course of the season in a super-easy photo comp. Hit more for the full details.
Designed by our recently-departed art director Nick Butterfield, the jacket is pretty much one of the best-looking bits of outerwear you’ll ever see (we can say that kind of thing now he doesn’t work here any more). Not only will this make you look the shit, it’s impressively tech too – it’s based on 686’s popular Basin puffa-style down jacket and it features an impressive 10,000 MM / 8,000 GM waterproof/breathability rating. The down makes this incredibly warm, and like all 686 jackets the design is really well-thought out, with powder skirt, iPod pockets, headphone loops, liftpass pockets and all manner of other features included. So what do you have to do to get your hands on one of these? Well, that’s easy.
We want you to upload your best snowboarding shots to Facebook, and tag us (Whitelines Snowboarding) in them. It doesn’t have to be new shots, you can go back through your back catalogue if you think there’s a banger in there and add the tag. We’ll look through the photos at the end of each month and our favourite one will win a jacket!
We’re looking for quality, not quantity here, so there’s no point tagging every single photo you have. At the same time we’ll look at more than just the best action shots, so don’t be afraid to tag any snow-related portraits or snow-related travel photos. Photos that don’t win will automatically be considered for the following month’s contest, so it works in your favour to upload and tag photos as early as possible. Get out there and get snapping away people!
