http://mpora.com/videos/gF74xzTmJ The Westbeach Snowflex Series continued bringing love, joy and happiness to the bristly dryslopes of the UK, heading up to Aberdeen last weekend to stage a sick comp. Aberdeen’s dryslope may be a relative newcomer when compared to the likes of Halifax, but their scene is second to none, and as this sweet highlights reel shows, the riding was off the hook! James Box, who was judging, put it like this: “Such a sick slope. It’s like Halifax but everything which is a bit shit with Halifax has been sorted in Aberdeen!”
Several of the UK’s finest made the journey up north, and the competition was fierce, with Kris Bell even throwing down a 1080! In the end though, it was the style and amplitude of Mark McClement that won through, beating Col Mytton and Danny McCormick into second and third. Becky Menday took first in the girl’s category, narrowly edging out talented local lass Natalie Riley and Lynsey Ashdown. Click ‘more’ for the full results.
