Given the Japanese theme and French venue, it’s probably not too surprising to see Kazuhiro Kokubo and Mathieu Crepel among the competitors. Other riders who brought along their teams included Danny Kass, who incorporated this comp into the Grenade crew’s European tour.
The standard of riding was ridiculous, mellow atmosphere or not, and seeing entire teams hit the big booter at once was a common sight. In the end the slopesyle crown went to the team of Arthur Longo, Mathieu Crepel and Alluan Ricciardi, deserving winners of a contest that was a hit with the competitors and spectators alike.
