Whitegold Snowboards is a joint venture between Bataleon snowboards and BC legend Kevin Sansalone. Whitegold aims to take the best of Triple Base Technology (TBT) and apply it to an all mountain design using the finest materials available.
Using ingenious snowboard profiles, combining groundbreaking technological innovations with time tested construction methods, Whitegold are making some seriously premium snowboards.
Whitegold started as a project in Kevin Sansalone’s garage but has moved on to becoming a legit company that make high end, high performance all mountain freestyle, freeride and powder boards. They are engineered for an outstanding ride for those riders who want the very best in snowboard performance and quality. Whitegold boards are backcountry products coming straight at you from Whistler via the Bataleon TBT factory in Austria.
They are starting their venture in the winter of 2013/14 and are releasing three boards: the Flyer, the North and the Shaka. The Flyer is designed for all riders who want an all mountain ride that can take on piste, park and powder. The North is the freeride cruiser of the gang designed to take on the gnarliest of freeride terrain, it comes as a splitboard as standard and has a bamboo core. The Shaka is built purely for powder and also comes as a splitboard so you get a snowboard and a pair of skis in one!
Whitegold snowboards are tried and tested by Kevin Sansalone in Kevin’s backyard; the Whistler backcountry. If you like getting deep in the white stuff, carving freshies and riding through trees then Whitegold boards are for you.
