Born in Quebec, Louif (aka Louis-Felix) grew up riding the streets and is now one of the biggest names in urban snowboarding. After coming second in 2011 and 2012 he won winning X Games Real Snow in 2013, making him arguably the most successful rider in that event’s history.
He also won the short lived X Games rail jam event in 2012 – at which he almost gave up his place to our very own Jamie Nicholls after seeing how well the boy from Bradford (who was only there as a reserve) was riding!
Filming’s still where his heart lies, though, and he’s logged some all-time classic parts with the Videograss crew including Bon Voyage and Shoot the Moon. He also became the first rider to be added to the adidas Snowboarding team after the initial crew was assembled – and his welcome part shows you what a wise move that was.
