When most of us were twelve we’d just started secondary school, were still figuring out exactly how babies are made and were listening to what we thought was the best music we’d ever laid our ears on. Some of us would have been pretty handy with a football, others were sick guitarists but very few (if any) could do a cab 270 onto a quad kink rail on a snowboard…

Such is the current state of affairs in resorts across the US and Europe, where kids have tow ropes alongside parks filled with incredible features and a whole host of older rippers to look up to and emulate.

Luke Zajac is the latest freakishly talented pre-pubescent jibber to emerge Stateside and his skills on rails, quite frankly, make us sick. It’s alright though ’cause they missed out on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Wayne’s World, Ali G and all that other good stuff…
