Here’s a recap from the Burton Freestyle Camp that went down last weekend at Tamworth. Despite it being a bit foggy – yes, Tamworth Snowdome has it’s own unpredictable weather system! – it looks like a progressive and most importantly, fun time was had by all involved. A whole bunch of coaches, including a miniature army of some of the UK’s jib generals Ross Needham, Ollie Dutton and Matt Higson, were on hand to give riders of all ages and abilities the pointers they needed to walk away with some new tricks under their belts or at the very least a renewed confidence in their ability. Overall there were plenty of smiles, high fives and stoked out kids (and a few adults!) – it’s always a bonus when there’s a ton of free swag to be had at the end as well!
