http://mpora.com/videos/Ka9w1dXJm Tamworth was the scene for the second stop of FBBB’s UK Progression Series last Saturday. The event was a big success with some serious talent on show. The Snowdome played host to a sick setup with rails, gas pipes and an enormous rocket painted with a shark face. At the bottom of the line was a stonking big wallride with a massive tombstone on top that was being completely slayed by Sam Turnbull and local lad Alex Waine early on.

John Weatherley, Sparrow Knox and Ross Needham were in fine form as the kids were killing it on the gas pipes and rails. Calum Paton, Jack Oughton and Martin Henny showcased the strength of the local scene whilst Lyndsay Ashdown did a fine job representing the girls. The turnout was substantially higher than your average freestyle night, a testimony to the quality of the events FBBB put together. FBBB was also well represented on the snow as Ali got involved in the action.

The Whitelines rail jam saw riders throwing down their best tricks over the rocket for on-the-spot prizes, with Weatherley and Calum looking particularly good. As always with FBBB, there’s no competition, its just a jam format where everyone gets stuck in, gets stoked and has a good time. With the FBBB crew behind the decks and Mikee manning the Mike, this was never in doubt. The good times continued late into the night, finally coming to an end around 1.30.
