If you cast your mind back six months, you’ll remember the successful Kickstarter campaign for Family Creative’s documentary about British snowboarding. Since then it’s been full steam ahead for Our Kingdom, and now the boys are giving us a taste of what to expect from the finished product.

The making-of series hits the ground running in this first instalment, covering two of the UK scene’s favourite overseas haunts. Team GB (including Billy Morgan, Rowan Coultas, Jamie Nicholls and Ben Kilner) are camped out in Colorado, taking advantage of the elite training facilities – as well as Billy’s Chipotle card.

The action then moves to Morzine where Mark Kent and Dom Harington are among those getting involved in the powder. The project’s not without its hiccups, of course, and there’s a narrow escape for Kevin Gitsham…

We expect that the true bangers are being held back for the movie proper, but it’s encouraging to see what’s been covered so far. More episodes are on their way, stay tuned.
