Close calls don’t come much closer than this, and had Marcel Hirscher been just a fraction of a second slower, he could have been toast. No wonder the commentators are losing their minds.
Perhaps this will mean new rules and regs concerning the use of drones during events, so maybe you should enjoy those sweeping overhead shots at slopestyle comps while you can.
We also wonder if this has anything to do with the email we received this morning from a drone operator, seeking “new opportunities in the snowsports industry” and asking to be paid upfront due to “some essential equipment maintenance”…
