Aimee Fuller kicked off the season by bagging a wicked third place in the Women’s Final at the O’Neill Pleasure Jam 2013 last week, after just being pipped to the post by Anna Gasser and Isabel Derungs.
Sweden’s Sven Thorgren claimed victory in the Men’s Final with a cab double 9, BS 1080 and a massive double rodeo on the final kicker. Isabel Derungs fought her way to the top with a backside rodeo and some solid moves on the rails.
Switzerland’s David Hablützel secured second place with Norwegian Brage Richenberg in third. Anna Gasser came second in the Women’s Final plus won Best Trick (and a sweet surf trip to Bali!) with her a monster cab 7 that (apparently) “sent her almost all the way to the flat!”.
Brit riders Nate Kern and Rowan Coultas made their way to the semi-finals but unfortunately couldn’t quite stick it to the finals. Next time boys.
