Thanks to a royally messed-up knee, Eero Ettala‘s been out of action for six months. It’s really not been the same without him – fellow rider Knut Eliasson even made this “I miss you” video for his crocked buddy!
Anyway, Eero’s back and waltzed straight into a guest coaching gig for High Cascade Summer Camps at Mt. Hood. Could he bring the old Ettala magic? Yes he could:
Being Mt Hood, there were heaps of other big names there to witness the comeback and have a go on the sketchy multi-rail. Eddie Wall, Iikka Backstrom, Aaron Biitner and “the man, the myth, the neck-lander” that is Kevin Jones all rode alongside Eero in what must have been a great session. Well, for everyone except Kevin and Iikka, anyway!
