The 24-hour snowboard marathon

Right now, Richard Millington is almost two hours into a 24-hour marathon snowdome session at Manchester’s Chill Factore.

The attempt is in aid of Disability Snowsport UK, for whom Rich aims to raise over £1000. He won’t just be pootling down, as he also wants to cover enough distance to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records. 25K should do it, which means lapping the slope almost 140 times. As long as he averages six runs every hour, he’ll make it.; it’s be easier said than done though, especially when he’s riding solo in the wee small hours…

You can send Rich your own donation here – or if you’re in Manchester, why not go do a few laps with him and keep him entertained?
