Jamie Barrow, Britain's fastest snowboarder, recently set the world indoor speed record at SnowWorld in Landgraaf, Holland.

Jamie managed to reach a top speed of 69.4 kph, which, despite being nowhere near the speed he achieved when he broke the British Speed Record back in April, is still pretty rapid considering he's in a building, and, y'know... enclosed by four solid walls.

The question is, now that a record has been set, can it be beaten? After all, there's a fairly obvious limitation imposed by the length and pitch of the indoor slope slope being raced on.

It could all come down to a matter of who is wearing the most aerodynamic lycra, or using the most expensive wax and also hinges on whether anyone will actually bother trying to beat it...
