Having waited all week to get into the park, my run was abruptly brought to a stop when I attempted a wall-ride in front of my mum.
Rather than the usual whoops and cheers my mum took a more direct approach: “I wouldn’t do that if I were you. You’re going to hurt yourself” she announced, before swiftly heading out of the park.
