Top 44 Snowboard Jackets (and Pants) of 2013/2014

If you’re always losing your crew on the mountain, Burton’s Blue Wanderlust Zig Zag jacket (left) is worth a try – wear this and they’ll have no problem spotting you, even in a white out. Plus it’s a great one to wear both on and off the slopes. The Hellbrook (right) is bang-on for those looking for a simple black jacket – often surprisingly hard to find. It’s simplicity is only skin-deep however. Inside, it’s got a Thinsulate lining, decent waterproof rating and all the bells and whistles featured in the best of Burton’s modern jackets.

ABOUT BURTON SNOWBOARDING

The Big B surely needs little introduction – one of snowboarding’s first brands and still the market leader nearly forty years later. There’s a reason Burton kit is some of the most popular out there: It’s well thought out, well built, and looks good. Since they started producing outerwear, Burton have diversified their range, introducing things like the super-high-end AK clothes, made entirely of Gore-Tex. These are the kind of clothes you could spend a night in a snow hole in and not feel it. At the same time, they’ve kept producing kit for park rats too, and when the US Olympic organisers decided they wanted a uniform for their Sochi teams, guess who they asked to design it? Yep, Burton.
