Bataleon have a relatively small range of outerwear, but they rock the ‘less is more’ approach. They sell kust a few well-designed pieces, which is always far better than dozens of average bits of kit. Both the Balder jacket (left) and the Dora jacket (right) sport the ‘helmet Houdini hood’ allowing you to hide your helmet from view while the pants are styled on straight cut jeans to fit snugly around your boots.

About bataleon snowboarding
Bataleon famously shook up the snowboard market in a big way when they launched their ‘Triple Base Technology’ equipped boards back in 2003. Last year, they decided to capitalise on their continued success by releasing an outerwear range. As with their boards, they kept the graphics and styling fairly classic and simple and concentrated on performance, letting the tech speak for itself. They introduced features like the “helmet Houdini hood” which allows you to wear a helmet under your hood – essential if you want to rock the street steeze of their team rider Gulli Gudmundsson. The range is still small, but this year’s pieces look to be continuing the winning trend of performance at a reasonable price, so we’re pretty sure it’ll grow fast in future.
