Top 44 Snowboard Jackets (and Pants) of 2013/2014

This year’s Mademoiselle jacket (left) from Billabong is one of the raddest coats on the women’s market right now – with grey/orange two-tone colours, tribal detailed pockets and longer length for powder riding. The Pier jacket (right) mirrors the Mademoiselle’s longer length with extra padded warmth for when the chair lift inevitably grinds to a halt halfway up the mountain. With a matching pair of Stedam pants, you’ll be good to go.

Billabong is one of the original Australian surf-brands, founded by shaper Gordon Merchant and his wife Rena in 1973. The company quickly grew from producing boardshorts in a backroom to one of the biggest in the surf industry, before expanding into skateboarding and snowboarding. Since they entered the sport, Billabong have had a consistently strong team, backing legends like Kevin Jones back in the early 2000s. Today, their eye-catching clothes are worn by the likes of Wolle Nyvelt and Jamie Anderson. While most of their range is aimed at park and all-mountain riders, they’re not shy of producing some seriously tech garments either. This year’s range includes some tribal-inspired details, like the pocket on the Mademoiselle Jacket here.
