The Details:

You don’t need to look at the specs to figure out that the Powder Surfer – also known as the Mountain Surfer – is a very, very different beast. Available in only one length (a relatively stubby 139cm), it’s a variation of the ‘noboard’ style of bindingless stick.

This one has two metal hooks on the topsheet for your boots, resulting in a surfy feel with just enough purchase to pull off airs and slashes. The grippy pad will help with that too, allowing you to mix up your stance on the fly without slipping off. It’ll probably get away from you at some point, but there’s a leash to stop it from flying down the hill without you when you slam. Not for everyday use, but when the conditions are right you’ll have a blast on this.
