Whilst you don't hear much about bananas from the GNU camp these days, asym boards are all the rage. And what better way to celebrate the launch of the new 2019 range than with... mirrors?
Alright. Even though a classic twin tip is technically more of a mirror-image design, the 'reflections' concept in this video definitely gets you thinking about the whole notion of (a)symmetry, and more importantly it has birthed a pretty unique three minutes of carving, aerials and space/time bending camera trickery.
With most of the effects taking place in-camera, the old school VX1000 vibes (still beloved of skaters) mean that although it's a far cry from the very latest in cinematic action edits, it more than makes up for it in lo-fi creative flair.

With Forest Bailey, Blake Paul, Max and Gus Warbington, Alex Lopez, Jacob Krugmire and Max Tokunaga all stuntin' for the camera on the new versions of boards like the Space Case and Super Progressive Air Machine (SPAM), it cries out for you to get back to the mountain and get creative. There're only a few more months until that's a reality again...
