Now over ten years in, they're continuing to hit new highs in terms of recognition, as highlighted by this winter's launch of a range of collaborative kit with Wolle's long-term sponsor DaKine.
Below you'll see a selection of products that not only pay homage to the excellent work of Äsmo, but serve as equally high-quality fodder for you to add to your collection. Three different snowboard backpacks, a special edition trigger mitt and a selection of Dakine x Äsmo tees are landing in stores as we speak, so without further adieu we'll jump in and take a closer look.
First up, the backpacks, where you'll find three offerings that cover a range of uses, branching over the activities that have influence Äsmo's own journey.
Pictured below, the Äsmo Section Wet/Dry 28L pack takes its inspiration from surfing, with a dedicated tarp lined wax pocket. The roll-top main compartment is fully waterproof, and cleverly (considering the name) will keep its contents dry or stop wet from leaking - stash a soggy wetsuit within, or keep a spare layer dry in harsh mountain conditions, it's up to you.

In a no-doubt familiar line for many snowboarders, Äsmo will also be getting their own version of the perennially popular Mission this winter - Fulfilling the backcountry pack part of the trio. With space for the ever-important shovel and probe in its external pocket, carry straps for your hike up, and a fleece-lined goggle pocked this simple but effective unit gets the Äsmo makeover too.
Finally, you'll also find a more everyday unit in the skate angled Äsmo Trek II 26L pack, a flip top pack with magnetic buckles and a side zip for quick access when you're out hunting for spots.
To tie the whole lot together, DaKine have built each of the three packs with rugged black 305 denier Cordura ripstop fabric, and custom green contrast lining to reflect the Äsmo aesthetic.
Not wanting to stop there, DaKine and Äsmo are also presenting a special edition of the Fillmore Trigger Mitt to round out the collection, pictured below with a selection of tees to boot, it pairs up the dexterity of a trigger mitt with plenty of warmth, making it a great all-rounder.
Of course, it's finished with the same trim as the packs, a low-profile look, fleece lining and leather panels, an ideal little addition for any day out powder surfing.
